Runners

The American Odyssey Relay Run Adventure is best suited for teams of 12 runners. Each runner runs 3 legs of the 36 segment course. But teams with fewer than 12 runners may participate. They'll just need to run more miles. In any event, it's best if the number on the team can be divided into 36 without any remainder. For those of you not conversant in arithmetic, that's 12, 9, 6, 4 or 3. Eighteen works too from a mathematical point of view, but it's not too good logistically.

So what if you don't have 11 nutty friends ready to join you and commit (or be committed?) No problem. You can sign up your team with fewer than 12 and add the rest as they join!
